Welcome

Hey guys, this blog is pretty much just about mainly hobbies, but there will be some school stuff on here. You are all free to comment, as long as it's not spamming. Okay, now the basics, I'll have posts relating to different things. One of them anime/manga reviews, which I have either read, or you guys suggest I read (as long as nothing like HOTD). Also, I might have my friend help with them, if she's read them. You guys can add your comments about it as well. Plus, it's not going to be anime/manga, though those are mains, it will also be books, though most will be assigned for school, so might not be the best reviews.

Another is art. I do draw, digitally and physically, and I also do photography so I might add some of my pieces up here. I also might find some interesting pieces or art and post them up here because I like them. Again, free for commenting.

Third is, believe it or not, knitting. I do knit, and will put some reviews up for those to see. If you like, you can use yourself. I have a few sources that you can get more patterns, though I mainly use raverly.com.

Another thing I'll post up is kinda mixed with the art above, but separate, but I enjoy learning about the language of flowers (I feel like an old lady with this and the thing above). I actually find it interesting that flowers can mean different things, so if you wanna learn about that as well, feel free, if not, I say what my little brother says "Don't judge me bro".

Last but not least (or maybe it is, it's in the eye of the beholder) is miscellaneous. Pretty much everything else from school to sports to other random stuff. I will do random things on here, such as complain about school and life or post some literature I wrote. This is random stuff people, so there is no predicting what I might do, though if you stick around long enough, you might be able to guess (not that I can).

Random error message I made, though it's only funny if you know Durarara

Acacia

The Acacia, or Wattle as it is known in Australia, is Australia's National Flower. Actually, those bubbles are made up of tiny flowers, similar the the monkey pod, which is from the same family. Rarely  is this flower found in flower stores but it can be found all around the world. In the language of flowers, it represents secret love, as well as beauty in retirement.

Manga Review: Assassination Classroom

Assassination Classroom, its teachers, and fellow schoolmates
Assassination Classroom, by Matsui Yuusei (same mangaka as Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro)
Status: Ongoing

Plot: Part of the moon has been destroyed so that now it is a permanent crescent moon. The one who comes forward and says that he is the one that destroyed the moon is a large creature that is a mix between an octopus and a teru teru bozu with a touch of mood ring(no joke, his skin even changes colors depending on his mood). He states that in a year's time, he will do the same to the Earth. So all the Governments agree to destroy him. Problem, he moves at Mach 20 and will retaliate by making what he calls "maintenance and improvements" (he cleaned a rocket that was shot at him by the American Government and returned it to the person who ordered its fire later that day).

What can people possibly do against the impossible to kill? Enter Kunugigaoka Junior High's Class 3-E (E as in End). Our lovely octopus friend proposed that he will teach them so they can have an opportunity to kill him everyday. There, everyday, they learn how to kill the newly named Korosensei (combined from korosenai and sensei, which in Japanese means unkillable and teacher respectively) as well as regular lessons. Two more students join (one being a computer), as well as there are two other teachers, their assistant teacher who is from the Government and their language teacher who is a pro-assassin named Bitch-sensei. Oh, and if your worried about if the kids will feel bad about trying to kill their teacher, don't be, they do it with a smile on their face.  And everyone is aiming for the ¥10 billion( about $26 million)  So, class is starting, きりつ、きおつけ、れい!(stand, at attention, bow!)

Time to start class!

Review:  OMG, this is such a good manga!!!  I did not read much of the mangaka's other works, but my friend read Neuro and loved it.  The plot seems slightly dark, though once you start reading it, it is really light hearted, the darkest it gets is either the discrimination of class E or Korosensei's past, which not much is known, aside from he might have once been human (I know, hard to believe).  The art is simple, but pleasant, and I can distinguish each character (sometimes, I can't in manga.  It's worse than my dad trying to tell asians apart [he's full white] -_-").  Also, no one in class E has a 2-D personality to me, not even the AI.

The class is a nice mix of personalities.  First, you got seemingly carefree Korosensei, then you get the narrator,  Shiota Nagisa, and his close friend Akabane Karma, (Karma-kun is the only one who got close to killing Korosensei), plus the seemingly cold Karasuma-sensei and the easily annoyed tsundure Bitch-sensei (that's what the kids call her).  The only one's you can forget are those that only show up for a couple of chapters.  No one in the classroom is forgettable, even if you forget their names, you will still recognize characters like 20 chapters later (unless you haven't really met them).

Many would think that this manga would be dark, but in reality it is really light hearted.  Though it is about kids about 13-14 learning to assassinate, they also are learning life lessons from their very target.  In the classroom, almost all the character's have a somewhat inferiority complex when compared to the rest of the school due to the school's discrimination of the class.  You are either put into class E because you do poorly grades wise or, like Karma, you defend class E and beat up regular students (yes, he was suspended as well, but main punishment was being in class E despite his grade's being 4th best in the entire school).  I find that this is the darkest part of the manga (not even what we know of Korosensei's past is as dark) due to the fact that this is a social commentary.  Korosensei, of course, made it somewhat of his mission to change that before the students graduated.

Overall, I gotta say that I fully enjoy this manga and give it 5 stars.  If you like light hearted, fun manga that won't go on forever, I suggest you try it.  It is published weekly in Shounen Jump (for you in Japan), but for those who read it online, it is done by Mangatopia.  So shall we join the students of Class 3-E to save the world and earn that prize money.  ;)  Oh yeah, don't question if the weapons work, they are only affective on him.

Oh yes, for you toxin experts, yes, he will drink your poison, even with a straight face
